Residency Training Program

The Residency Training Program has been accredited by the Philippine Pediatric Society since 2014. The latest reaccreditation was in 2019.

The program currently has a total of 22 Pediatric residents - all mentored by consultants and under the direct supervision of the Residency Training Committee. Resident applicants are thoroughly screened before admission to the resident staff.

The hospital administration under the wing of the Medical Training Program and the Department of Pediatrics work together to provide the latest available facilities that provide an environment that fosters learning in its trainees. To date, all our graduates have successfully passed the Philippine Pediatric Society examinations. Because all the subspecialties are represented, the department has created teaching modules for subspecialties and guidelines for subspecialty rotations making their training ideal.
